Warranty

LOTTEDS JEWELRY

Warranty

Two years on the making. A lifetime on the record.

What is covered

  • Setting and stone security — a stone that loosens or falls out of a setting we made.
  • Clasp, hinge and chain integrity — a mechanism that fails in normal wear.
  • Rhodium finish — lifting or discolouring within the first two years.
  • Workmanship — solder joints, prongs, the finish on the inner band.

What is not covered

  • Accidental damage: a crushed shank, a bent prong from a knock, a snapped chain from a pull.
  • Wear that is expected — fine surface scratches on silver after years of daily wear.
  • Work carried out by another jeweller, including re-sizing and engraving.
  • Loss or theft, which is an insurance matter rather than a warranty one.

How to claim

Write to us with the piece number and a photograph. Do not ship the piece before you have spoken to us — we will tell you which address to use and how to insure it. Turnaround is usually 10–14 business days, and we tell you the price of anything outside the warranty in writing before any work begins.

Your piece number is permanent

Even if a repair replaces a component, the piece number stays the same and the Asset File is updated. Your record — what it is, what it was worth, when it was serviced — survives the repair. That is the point of numbering it in the first place.

Legal guarantee

This warranty sits on top of the statutory rights you already have, including the EU 2-year legal guarantee of conformity. Where a statutory right is broader, the statutory right applies.
